The Scottish Aviation Bulldog is a side-by-side two-seat trainer. It first flew in 1969, and 78 were delivered to the Swedish Air Force, the first country to order it. In 1972, 130 were delivered to the Royal Air Force, and they served as the T.1 primary trainer until 2001.
The Bulldog came in a variety of variants and was used by over 10 countries, including the Model 121 for the Royal Air Force, Malaysia, Nigeria and Jordan.
Model XX654 was manufactured in 1974 and is painted in the typical red and white RAF Bulldog livery. It is currently on display at the British Aviation Museum at the former RAF Cosford.
