VH-OJA completed its final flight on March 8th this year and was donated to the Australian Historic Aircraft Restoration Society.
The aircraft also holds the record for the longest distance flown by a civilian aircraft, flying from London to Sydney in 20 hours, 9 minutes and 5 seconds in August 1989, a record which still stands today.
