■Features (quoted from the importer with some modifications)
This strategic bomber first flew in 1952 and was deployed with the Royal Air Force from 1956 to 1984. It is characterized by its unique design with large delta wings.
The XM607 model was refueled in mid-air from the UK during the Falklands War in 1982 and took part in Operation Blackbuck, a long-range bombing raid to Argentina, covering 12,600 km round trip.
On April 29th of the same year, XM607 dropped a total of 21 bombs in an attack on Port Stanley Airfield in the Falkland Islands.
XM607 is currently on display at RAF Waddington.
