The F-35A Lightning II was selected as the next-generation fighter for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force in December 2011, as the successor to the F-4EJ Kai Phantom II.
The Air Self-Defense Force plans to procure 42 aircraft, with actual deployment likely to occur after 2016.
The Modern Aircraft Collection will be the first to model this aircraft, to which the future of our nation is entrusted, and release it as a pre-painted semi-finished product.
It will be several years before the aircraft will be unveiled as an Air Self-Defense Force aircraft, but we have built three aircraft based on our estimates.
