Tornado ECR (reconnaissance type) German Air Force 51st Reconnaissance Wing "Immelmann" Special paint "Tiger Meet 2014" Schleswig-Jäger Air Base 46+28 1/72 [HA6709]

The unit was reorganized in 1993 from personnel of the former 51st Reconnaissance Wing, which operated the RF-4E in the German Air Force, and the former 1st Squadron of the 1st Fighter Wing 1 of the Navy, and was named after World War I ace pilot Lieutenant Max Immelmann.
"Tiger Meet" is a joint exercise between the air forces of NATO countries, held once a year and bringing together units from each country that have tigers on their unit insignia.
